Our program has been reviewed and approved by rigorous board critiques. Our program has been continuously reviewed for excellence by outside agencies. We have been demonstrated to provide high standards for training coaches regarding coaching curriculum, structure, trainer proficiency and more.
Our life coach training program is nationally and internationally recognized, and approved by several professional organizations for continuing education units. These include the Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board for the State of Indiana (for Licensed Social Workers, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Mental Health Counselors and Marriage and Family Therapists), The Indiana Association of Prevention Professionals and The National Council on Family Relations.
You do not need any continuing education units unless you are credentialed through one of the listed organizations and you need additional hours for re-certification, or for license renewal.
International Coach Federation (ICF) Information:
We have been approved by the ICF as a continuing education provider since 2009. We are planning to continue to be an approved provider in 2012.
Students who complete live training can use their hours to go toward credentialing with the ICF. This is only for students who complete a live training program. The ICF does not currently have an approval process in place for online programs.
Completing an ICF approved program is not a requirement for you to receive certification, or to operate as a successful coach, or to have a successful practice. This is simply an opportunity put in place for those who desire it.
There is no required approval or accreditation for life coaching schools, or life coach training programs. Life coaching is not overseen by any governing agency (on the state or federal level). Life coaching is not counseling, psychology or therapy.
We guarantee you a quality coaching education regardless of whether you choose online classes or a teleclass program. We adhere to the core competencies and ethical guidelines as outlined by the ICF.
