Dr. Shauntel Peak-Jimenez, Ph.D., is the founder of The Character and Self-Esteem (CASE) Institute, established in 2009 after she lost her job as a corporate nurse due to downsizing. Turning adversity into opportunity, she built The CASE Institute into an internationally recognized coach training and certification company.
With over two decades of experience in coaching, education, consulting, and mentoring, Dr. Shauntel is a Certified Life Coach, Master Certified Coach, Certified Business Coach, Certified Executive and Leadership Coach, Certified Financial Coach, Certified Financial Education Instructor, and Certified Coach Trainer. She has also authored multiple books and is an international best-selling, award-winning author.
Her work has been recognized globally. She was chosen out of 600 coaches as Coach of the Year in 2010, honored as a top coach trainer, and earned Diamond Expert Author status with Ezine.com for publishing over 150 articles that have inspired thousands worldwide.
Dr. Shauntel’s education includes a Ph.D. in Philosophy with an emphasis on Holistic Coaching, a Doctorate in Christian Counseling, dual master’s degrees, a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and extensive certifications in psychology, mindset, personal development, stress management, resilience, mindfulness, and NLP.
She also holds a leadership certificate from Yale University and a certificate in Sustainable Business Strategy from Harvard Business School, further strengthening her expertise in leadership development, strategic business growth, and organizational impact. With a background in healthcare, education, and business, she brings both academic excellence and real-world experience to her students and clients.
From her beginnings as a single mother on welfare to becoming an internationally respected coach trainer, author, and speaker, Dr. Shauntel embodies resilience, faith, and determination. She is passionate about equipping others to break barriers, develop confidence, step into leadership, and live purposeful, fulfilled lives.
When she isn’t training and mentoring coaches, she enjoys time with family, writing, reading, basketball, and anything inspirational.
